What We Do

Community Connections is a non-government organisation which supports people with a disability to achieve an ordinary life. Our objectives are to develop capacity for natural support networks, minimise dependence on paid service and maximise inclusion in the community.

We do this by:

  • listening to each person's unique needs and aspirations
  • exploring or creating opportunities for positive relationships
  • fostering community inclusion for people with disabilities

If you have a disability, we can provide useful and relevant information on the resources within the community. Our aim is to connect you with your community through work, recreation and leisure.

To find out more about our agency, you can:

  • Phone the office on 6296 1133 for information about our range of services
  • Speak to Robyn or Alan about your particular enquiry

We can meet your cultural or specific needs in the following ways:

  • Arrange for an interpreter to be at a meeting
  • Seek assistance from an interpreter from the Deafness Resource Centre
  • Arrange for support from a cultural representative of the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander group
